Your Environment Matters

The more that things change in life, the more they remain the same; in fact, there is nothing new in life just a new perception by the observer.

This realization came recently as I reflect on the past 8 years of learning, education and schooling. About 6 years ago, I was introduced to the teachings of Dr. Bruce Lipton Ph.D. and his book entitled, ‘The Biology of Belief’. In his book, he explains how the new science of epigenetics (control above the genes) has now come to the forefront of science and simply supports the fact that we are not controlled by our genetic inheritance but we are controlled by our environment which allows our genes to be expressed! Good News! We now understand that we have control over our biology by our environment which is our experience in life. No longer are we controlled by our genes, we have control over our genes. We have the ability to control and create the health, relationships and life that we want. We no longer have to pray and wait for our healing, we can create it starting today by changing our environment. As Jesus said, ‘the kingdom of God is within you’ and he meant we have the ability to change our lives for the better by consciously changing our environment!

As I was studying for my Ph.D. in Natural Health via correspondence over the past few years, I was introduced to the science of ‘Natural Hygiene’, Natural Hygiene simply means Natural Health. In fact, in the mid 1800’s Natural Health was the preferred health practice over allopathic medicine. Natural Health allows nature to perform the healing. Certainly nature must know how to heal what it has created! The human body knows how to heal itself without chemicals and pharmaceuticals as long as we provide the key facets of life, namely; correct healthy natural food, clean water and air, correct amount of sleep, right temperatures, correct exercise, cleanliness, healthy relationships, the right amount of sunlight, mental poise and meaning in life.

As we realize that less than 5% of all people that are born into this world have a faulty genome (or inherited disease) yet we see over 70% of the population developing chronic diseases (cancer, heart disease, diabetes, obesity), we can only come to the conclusion that our environment causes our diseases. What is your current environment like today?

Natural Health provides the environment to prevent chronic diseases and has been around since the 1800’s, yet we do not heed to its true principles of nature. We have defaulted to the allopathic system of health care that clearly has not worked in the prevention of the cause of disease but simply puts a band aid over our health issues by suppressing symptoms.

The purpose of this blog is to introduce you to self-care health based on the Natural Health principles that build health rather than prevent disease.

You can either grow or protect, growth leads to health which is fully in your control. Join me to improve your health each week.
